Little Brother (fantastic book, it's about geeky computer stuff and a dysfunctional american government and girls)
Have you read his other book Just as good, follows a guy who is trying to forget up major game companies by killing their economy. Really good book, some pretty complicated stuff in it.
I would suggest Under the Dome and Cell by Stephan King. Also, Terry Prachett writes some really great books as well, would recommend.
