I take it you worded your post wrong then.

I just think crashing a server and fooling with the ban list is a very different thing. One is more serious than the other.

In a case like this, starting rumors isn't a nice thing to do.

It doesn't sound like him.

He didn't ban 'a lot of 2k IDs', he banned over 2000 IDs, from 1000 to 3014, only stopping because he got banned.

The reason is trolling and someone who is 'new' wouldn't know if this sounded like MrLoL or not. Because you shouldn't know who MrLoL is.
