My dad was in the navy during nam. He was an electrician in the tonkin gulf were he was on patrol 30 days at a time. He saw some people get torn to pieces by machine gun fire and later he and a few others had to clean it up.
My grandfather was in an artillery crew during WW2. He was in Europe most of the time

Cousin was in afghan not to long ago. Went as a medic. He has like 2-3 confirmed. My great uncle jake served in nam. I have his ka-bar, and the revolver he brought back.

grandfather was in the navy and built a few ships that still survived
father was born near the end of wwii and avoided drafting into nam because his physical state wasn't well enough

Grandpa was a plane spotter in the Navy during the Korean War.
My grandmother's sister was one of the first female Marines in Vietnam or Korea, not 100% sure though.
One of my great great grandfathers fought for the Greeks in WWI I think.

One of my uncles were in the Vietnam war. They thought they were immune to this disease and when they sprayed it on them they all died.

My uncle fought and died in Vietnam.

forget I'm not signing up for the draft. I don't care about gov't loans.

My cousin's out fighting dragons, and what do I get? Guard duty.


I'll specify a little more about my family members.

I don't know what my great-great-great grandfather did, but my grandfather was with the 199th Light Infantry Brigade. My grandfather's uncle was a tank crewman.

My uncle died of a heart attack and a car crash simultaneously. I still cry bout it to this day.
