I played the beta and its pretty good. I've never played any other Age of Empire games, so I can't compare it to past games, but the gameplay is a mix between Evony and an RTS and it works pretty well.

Hopefully like the best of Age of Empires 2 and 3.
Age of empires online is stuff and I'd rather play AoE II with anyone any day.
