Despite popular opinion, unless you wanted a weapon for a good reason, you should definitely not get a real sword. You can get the cheaper replicas at the cost of use, but they will look just the same and be much cheaper.

I researched katanas awhile back. The better ones priced from 400 - 500 dollars.

I usually found swords in that price range to be lower quality or had acid injections to make them stronger or something.
