I'll switch your property type for you. Your goods will automatically change their type.
But selling should work.

The concept is good, just like your modern weapons pack. What it needs is more thoroughness. The code and all is very well done, all you need to do is make an interesting town grid in a landscape with different areas to explore rather than a plain 2d brown poo road grid.
