I do something similar, except I grab the back of the collar with both of my hands, pull up and forward

slightly slower accelleration, but yes.
you also start moving down slowly again, it's not a magic fix

I just put my arms in my shirt and stretch or something.... Damn I can't remember how to remove my shirt.
