It'd also be very expensive to maintain the two different codebases and it'd confuse newer players. |

Simply call it "Classic" and some sort of difficulty rating. As for maintaining the codebase, the vanilla codebase shouldn't change too often, so it should be pretty simple to maintain. Balanced classes and grinding to a max level of 120 (I'm pretty sure that was the max) is what is appealing about it. And I'm sure there are tons of players who would play this server for the nostalgia or for the challenge. |
