Knowing Notch, he probably did find out about that game, then forgot and thought he figured it out on his own when his subconscious started detailing a game out to him. He's a very ditzy man.

The Rodina guy should be happy. He's going to get a lot more publicity because people have asked notch about it and whatnot.

The publicity isnt going to be worth the loss of innovation and the fact that Rodina will be considered a clone.
