No it won't but it's a start with assembly and it takes less than 10 seconds to compile and run code.

I doubt that would a 16 bit computer would crash the whole game, worst comes to worst, delete everything and install new stuff on your computer.
Then again the computer could control your ship/terminal to whatever it does
