Let's all tell each other what we love or hate to see in a Blockland DM.

So much this^ Ive noticed that a lot on many servers
I also hate when people give hookshots to certain classes, or are too lazy to build their own town, so they use Afghanistan

Sabbin:

I've been working on a TDM lately, tell me if you like or dislike the aspects, i'll be sure to take them into consideration:

Team bases are most definitely different, but they have different vehicles and items and such, although none has a major major advantage.

-Blue base is larger (Which I may change, not sure yet) (Just more spaced out and harder to get around, but the spawn building has teles to get to the different areas easily
-Red base is closer together, has more sturdy vehicles, easier to access.

It is a territory control map, so I doubt there will be much spawn killing rather than focus on the points. I also am trying to incorporate some kind of teamwork.
I may redo some of them or add more, there's 4 total, but they're focused more towards the side of the blue base so I may add 2 more to the side closer to the red base.

Weapons are different, but basically the same (In type). Both teams spawn with all you need to play. Assault Rifle and a Pistol, but armories are available to use.

Red base has tanks and humvees as blue has a helicopter and jeeps. (Normal hangars are the same)

I'm just using T+T because it's convenient and has all I need.
-And I'll post a birds eye view of the map (Labeled of course) if you wish.

Red base has tanks and humvees as blue has a helicopter and jeeps. (Normal hangars are the same) I don't think only one team should have the right to a flying vehicle.

I'm just using T+T because it's convenient and has all I need. Sure, why not?

***-Both teams have hangars that have 2 stunt planes and one biplane each, so both teams have both kinds of vehicles, one just has a helicopter, jeeps (Plus hangar) and no tanks, and the other has tanks and humvees and no helicopter (Plus hangar)***

-Snipers, shotguns, SMGs, Pistols, (And I will add explosives) are all in the armory. No use for an armory if you only have assault rifles in the game. You just spawn with an asslt rifle and a pistol is what I meant. I'll add a grenade to the spawn items as well.

-I'll be sure to work on more points.

Ahhhh..!  TDM's man.

Most of the issues listed here are what I would like to try and do for my TDM's, but my problem is the building phase. Blockland is such a love/hate thing for me because of my inability to finish a build. Hah.

If there has got to be one thing that kills TDM's for me, its the aesthetics. 'Bloody, tearing my eyes out with these less-than-pleasing builds. Doesn't have to be great, but at least have some effort put into it.
