Let's all tell each other what we love or hate to see in a Blockland DM.

Khain:

I love Rocket Jumping DMs

I miss Xang's server. :c

Sabbin:

The only time my server has been active, and has its most players was yesterday - but then the server crashed and nobody joined afterwards. It was fun though, there were a lot of people.

It doesn't catch on very much though.

Seriously.
More Spawn Bricks
More Weapon Bricks
More Exits
Bigger Room
Spawn Camp Protection

good thing metro is catering to all of that. except the spawn protection. the map is very large so it would be impossible to spawnkill somebody.

Dislikes:
stuff that's been done over and over and over. Piss off, knife DMs. They're like many peices of stuff, but each one is wrapped and presented in a different way, but deep down it's still stuff. I have never seen a knife DM that goes outside the usual "1 life floating platforms grapple rope butterfly knife" mold. Rooftops still fall under the floating platform map type.
Weapon buying - Disadvantaged to stuff unless I spend ages being slowly and painfully raped until I can finally get a good weapon.
Fall damage - Mostly depends on the map - Like on pecon's server, the fall damage annoyed the stuff out of me until some time later.
Using tf2 classes for something that isn't tf2 - I'm guilty of this, my boss battle build ripped classes out of other games, but I tried to make them kind of seperate from the originals(Tribes ascend brute =/= the brute I made). Pecon's server is guilty of this.
