You shouldn't have to think about it. When I ask a chick out it's usually a spur of the moment kind of thing, and half the time I don't even expect it.
Then again you're 11 so disregard that. But go for it champ, if she rejects you then oh well, I can promise nothing bad will come of it so don't tell yourself it's the end of the world. And to everyone saying he's too young, perhaps he is, imo he should probably be trying to make friends with all of the chicks he knows rather then asking out one or two, but who gives a forget. Every single girl is just a bandwagon "fan". They don't like their music, they like their looks, which aren't anything stellar in my opinion. Their music is just generic, stuffty music that they could crap out in five minutes. Women here who don't like them are few and far in between, and they must be acquired quickly. One Direction is really for those desperate girlies who want to fall in love with some stuffty musician who will never meet them. They claim members of the band as their "future husbands", all they're gonna get is heartache.

Two female friends of mine were flipping metric stufftons of forgets about how they liked the band. I tried explaining to them that it's a cynical exploitation of the tendencies of teen girls for profit, and they actually legitimately flipped a stuff at me and went all "YOU HATE MY FUTURE HUSBANDS? WE CAN'T BE FRIENDS ANYMORE!" stuff sucks.
