Terraria - How do you know when and how your ready for WoF?

I'm great at fighting in Hell, I have a Minishark and 3 types of bullets. I have a few gravitation potions and one guide voodoo doll. I have a molten pickaxe and a blue phaseblade and 26 gold coins. I have spectre boots, cloud in a bottle, and band of regeneration. I have 15 defence. I have 57 healing potions.  Water bolt, magic missle, and a handgun and musket. How could I defeat him?

loving geez, also MINISHARK MINISHARK MINISHARK MINISHARK, it's like the only loving way to beat bosses because melee works like stuff to them.
