Really just making this thread to see your guys opinions on the subject. For those of you who dont know what Permadeath is, Permadeath is a feature in games where you can choose to play in a "Hardcore" fashion. Basically, if you die, your character is deleted and you cannot play any longer. An example would be Hardcore mode in Minecraft. Personally, I love permadeath. It adds a new excitement to a game that you dont have otherwise. Every fight, every battle, every risky move could end your game. Obviously, I dont like Permadeath in all games. Sometimes I just want to play like normal. Anyways, your guys thoughts? |

I personally don't like playing permadeath because when I die, I usually lose all the progress I have made in the game. I don't mind it being a feature, but I don't think I would like a game where you are forced to play permadeath. |
