I'm always getting myself stuck under the recommended level for my story, it's a struggle to get to another questing area and level up. Tips for pro leveling?

I find that I finish zones about three levels before their top recommended levels, and enter new zones at that point as well. Though I'm currently backlevelling doing the Fields of Ruin and Plains of Ashford, so, eh.
6.6k/9.8k karma for a culture weapon. I'm thinking I'll get the Ebonhawke greatsword, it looks so nice and minimalist. Really looking forward to getting the Vigil armor at 80, too. Vigil heavy armor looks great for humans, since it's not hugely overplated like most other higher tier heavy armors.

I find going to WvWvW fills the spaces for me. Might take a while though unless your raging through keeps and stuffs with a group of people.
