If your UPnP does not work for you hosting a server, you need to port forward.

Alright, if this is your first time hosting a server, and it doesn't work, you need to start a game in singleplayer and press F2 or F1, im not exactly sure. One of those buttons might open a help window, (Im saying might because I'm not exactly sure.) and you can scroll down to what you want to learn.

For some reason, this was never an issue up until recently. Only after an OSX update did this actually start to be an issue, but beforehand, I could host a server without port forwarding. How do I port forward on a Mac?''

I've hosted a server before without doing any port forwarding.
