Also I joined, Got hit by a carpet bomb and was healed. pretty much the best introduction to the scene ever.

I'm a big fan of this server. I've been RPing with you since years back and I've always had a great time.
But eh, I'm getting a little fed up of the place. The lagging, the crashing. Its really hard changing weapons in time. And it takes more than several seconds to get through doors. Do you have any alternative options with hosting? Its starting to go from being a bit annoying to being a serious problem that is spoiling the game.
Also I was sorta disappointed with the RP earlier, contrary to what you posted. The bombing thing made things exciting, but there was a lot of shouting and attention seeking by players during that time.
I genuinely didn't know what was happening at first. I got my character to ask what was going on, and I was completely ignored by players who were more interested in themselves. After several attempts of posting the same thing over and over, I gave up. I'm not sure if I was the only one who wasn't able to communicate with players.
QuantumEagle was the only one who bounced off other characters and engaged with me and what I said during that event. Certain other people were just trying to dictate the RP and it was a bit poor quality.
I like to be a background character, but I felt like today the RP was very typical of bad RP servers; people who ignore everyone else and just shout about themselves.
I'm really hoping this was just a bad day because its getting steadily worse IMO. The build, the concept, and your administration is still top notch but the actual server reliability is becoming a wet blanket, and some of the players are letting down the place.
