Author Topic: Adventure RPGs/Click Challenge Servers  (Read 387 times)

Whatever happend to these? These were great servers. I remember Cucumber made a bunch of them, but he's not hosting anymore.

Someone should starting hosting one of these again, or if not i'll build one with someone.

This is what i mean:

In my opinion, this is the worst way to do an adventure server.  While it certainly beats out a family rp by a mile, it's just not the best way to do things.  It just lack gameplay a little.  You usually just wander through areas and click things.  And the dialogue is pretty cheesy.  "The door is locked!"  "You find a key! Maybe it can open the locked door!"

There's a good way to do them but most people choose the cheesy route where text messages spoonfeed you everything.

Youse is considering making an adventure server soon.

Yeah you're right. I like adventure RPG's with some action. I think Lord Tony hosted a metal slug challenge a while back, that was pretty fun. Also, ZAPT campaigns, i miss those.

Also, i'll help if you decide to build one.

Who had that really good one so long ago?
There is a youtube video somewhere....

THATS THE ONE!!

I've wondered this as well. If Minecraft has the capability of making fun maps, Blockland should be able to do it 3x better because it has events.

Yes! I kinda wanna recreate an adventure map.

That was kinda awful.  I'm currently working on an adventure map, Endgame kinda inspired me with his questionnaire.

I've been working on an adventure map project for the past week.
