basically it's a pack of mods that make single player and multiplayer very complicated but fun for those who are advanced with stuff on Minecraft.

It's a pack of a ton of mods that expand Minecraft's possibilities one billion fold.
EDIT: Worth noting that Technic is SSP and Tekkit is SMP. I think that's it.
