Author Topic: What is you position on the legal stance of Marijuana (Polls closed)  (Read 4790 times)

Here is my full stance

Illegal to drive high (Same punishment as a DUI)

For sale from certain stores (like headshops or 7/11) to 18+

Illegal to sell to others (as in resale after buying it from a store which won't really happen because they can all buy it in a store so they won't bother buying from a street dealer thus taking Illegal dealers of the street)

Maximum possession limit outside of your property should be 1 ounce so if you are carrying it around it should be one ounce.

Taxed

Driving and using, same punishment as DUI
Needs a new way of consumation that is NOT smoking, because that will damage your lungs much like cigerrates.

i follow bill cosby's stance

"Drugs give you a boost in personality!"

"Yeah, but what've you're an starfish?"

That's nice to hear, but some people are more prone to addiction than others. Say if alcoholism runs in your family, you are especially more prone because you a predisposed to it. Likewise, things in your environment can change your addiction susceptibility, like you don't get the proper nutrition in the womb or some sort of traumatic event. It's different for everyone.

Saying alcoholism runs in a family makes it sound genetic. It's not. It's a lack of self control.

Lol 4/20 like a holiday around here. You know your in Kentucky if anything and everything is associated with drugs.

Wouldn't stop illegal dealers, there would probably be problems with resale to minors

thats loving awful reasoning.
what if he wrecks his car into a nursing home and kills all the elderly people? what if he crashes into a family of 4 having a picnic?

Well we obviously give him a DUI and send him on his merry way so that he can go through "rehabilitation" to get back into a car in a few months because "he's got to drive to work, man!"

But then he does it again and get's another DUI.

God dammit, I think weed should be illegal, but driving while drunk should be punishable by 30 to 40 years in prison. I mean seriously. That should be the issue here. God dammit, all of our drug laws are asinine.

There aren't really any physical downsides to weed, but the emotional effects... I know some people who smoke weed a lot. They are sad souls who talk about nothing but weed, all day, every day. It's sad really. I don't know if I want weed to be legalized after seeing this bunch.

People forget the long term effects of weed. Many users become slow and forgetful. Some even begin to talk like Crush off of Finding Nemo.

>implying chronic heavy use of alcohol and tobacco products won't be more harmful

People forget the long term effects of weed. Many users become slow and forgetful. Some even begin to talk like Crush off of Finding Nemo.

Has that honestly been proven? Like, scientifically?

Because my dad was a Vietnam peace-time era solider who smoked all sorts of pot in the late 70s. And today he is a normal, job holding (manual labor, mind you, no lazy work), functioning human being.
