Some games seem to lag at some times, and my audio card is complete loving stuff.

Which parts should I upgrade? What should I upgrade to?

does your motherboard have built-in sound or is it a soundcard? if it's the latter just get a new soundcard. if not, try buying a soundcard. maybe it's just your speakers?

Without a doubt he has onboard sound. He probably just needs a sound card.
