perma bans are the best. noobs stay out of the way and if they apologize on rtb or explain how it was a mistake, you can just unban them. never had to deal with these "server trolls" because they're all banned for good, instead of the typical "3 warnings then an hour ban" crap.

roleplay in blockland is stupid. instead of having to roleplay out some fight <slashes with the sword of the heavens> and pretending to be wounded, i'd rather just kick someone's butt in an actual game fight then and there.

Still, it was unnecessary for a permanent ban and plus without any warnings, that was a dumb thing to do.

If you can't help a person just because they are having troubles at your server, then just kick them or give warnings.  Permanent bans were far from necessary, next time give warnings. I am not trying to subside from your logic, it's just stupid what you did, Dr.shoe was apparently blind not to see the rules or say "gtfo", but give warnings or just kick and if they come back and start being idiots again, just ban them for a little while and so on and so on.

And most RP's tend to lack in popularity due to not being well-made or developed, or just bad admins/host.
I am not saying yours does but with the way you are administrating, it doesn't seem helpful to your server.

You don't need a warning when the warning is right there in front of you. If OP wasn't so oblivious and had the slightest hint at what to do, he wouldn't have been banned. All he saw was that it was a roleplay server, and probably expected the same crap there is in a Family RP.

The server needs to be passworded and have the password located in the server's topic, so people who read the topic and know what to do will be the only ones able to join the server. It will filter out the clueless ones like OP.

The point is, most RPs tend to fail, and this is what the Host should do so it doesn't attract idiots such as the OP.  But he might not and then it will just cause more drama's from people don't know the point of the server and the rules.   Making a topic about your server is a great way to show people how to act/play/know the rules on it if it would be a good server in that case.

If it were more obvious to what was happening, the OP should of just left the server or asked for help or anything.

You were banned from my server for not abiding by the strict roleplay requirements. I'll agree my actions were very hasty, but I will not agree in thinking they were unjustified.

I can't recall your ban reason exactly, but it was for basically ruining the server's atmosphere. If you have a problem with someone's actions, inform an admin via OOC chat. Do not use the radio or local chat. Also do not abbreviate. I doubt you say 'gtfo' in real life. I don't want abbreviations like that in the chat and you should get out of the server and make room for a player who can write well.

If you cannot operate the chat mod, get out of the server. It is a very, very, very simple mod. You set your name and use the one prefix in both chat modes to do different commands. There aren't 50 different commands to memorise like /me /it /inventory /time or even (god forbid) /setjob.
Just ^ and only ^.
If you do not know what that means, get out of the server and make space for someone who understands simple concepts.

Even if I didn't ban you for ruining the environment, you would have probably been removed anyway. Grammar is generally quite important on my server. This isn't a familyRP or CityRPG, this is the Bluzone**.
If you came looking for some organised, serious roleplay- awesome! If you came to shoot zombies because you think you need guns to roleplay, get out.

You are not getting un-banned, and neither are the 12 other people who got permanently banned. I have never once seen someone get a second chance in my server. I shouldn't even need to tell you the rules, too. You get told them when you join the server, you get told them when you /setname, you get told them when you spawn and you get told them once you leave the spawn.

My server is not for you. You do not want to be in it.

I am a reasonable and rationable admin, for reasonable and rational people.

At least you could have banned me with the proper ban reason, then i might not have made this drama topic. Unfortunately, you didn't. Instead you said "annoying other players" or you know, something like that. I really find it quite annoying when people ban me with absolutely far fetched reasons that do not comply with the actual reason. And people, please stop posting here. I see now why I was banned, But either way. I personally think this is a bit extreme for a reason to be banned. It's just the chat. No biggy.  Really.

Just because you were being an ass in the chat only doesn't mean that everything is a-ok, seems that you got banned for a pretty good reason.

I only ever use permanent bans, and if someone is banned for doing exactly what you're doing, it's a good sign that you should stop.

I can manage a server of 16 people with no issue, everyone roleplays and everyone is having fun. It takes one bad egg to de-rail everything, and that's when I start banning people.

I'm ruthless with banning, that's no secret, and I was in a particularly intolerant mood. When I see a group of about 5 people in the centre of the base, push brooming eachother, it doesn't do much for the roleplay.

Everyone is remaining banned.

I understand the strict admins, I remember some people got very upset with my admining on owl's server, but I was only being strict, I even warned people.

I remember Hank did nothing but complain about my admining.

Yeah, I mean, in circumstances like this, there shouldn't even be a situation where an admin needs to tell you that you are screwing up. All this topic has done is confirm Dr.Shoe is not Bluzone material.
