Actually, there is a high possibility the engine workers that were sealed up are still preserved.
Well actually, even in areas inaccessible by creatures, by this point it'd probably be cleaned out. Bacteria and acids in the water would all contribute to breaking it down. Those bodies may have lasted longer but after 100 years its a bit of a stretch.
