I disagree with you. There's nothing wrong with undulo water. If you need water but can't use the waterbricks cause they're too big, this is the only solution (assuming you are using default bricks)

Not only solution. If you're a fool enough not to get the WaterFX can addon, you can manually event a simple event in water: onActivate > self > setShapeFX > Water

Too much work to do it manually.
I've actually never used waterfx. I tried the fxcan now, and I'm not totally convinced. It looks better for big lakes and rivers and such, but I prefer undulo for small creeks, bathtubs etc..

Bullstuff. I did it all manually on a whole river and it took me about 15 minutes.
