You're a former smith seeking for personal revenge. A former merchant full of lust for money and power. Whoever you are.

You just have left a village (or a city, according to Warband), and discover the open world around you, with several kingdoms, with some of them in a war with others (or not?)

You recruit people from other villages, complete tasks, punish looters. All for trust of kings and vassalship.

Or:

You punish looters, destroy villages (CRIMINAL SCUM) and wage war with that one castle.

It's up to you.

NO, IT'S NOT OLD.

 * A bit later in the game, a good way of denar making is accepting a task of collecting taxes (the king might mention his civillians are sly foxes). You might collect a ducklington of denars and then pay the king 4/5 of the tax, keeping 1/5 of it to yourself, as promised.

 * If it being third person is bugging you, press R ingame.

 * also sarranids are all silk and one percent iron

Count:

Fun game but it gets repetitive later on.

Littledude:

steam kind of sucks with getting enough keys to give out.
I bought the whole collection and the only one I want to play, Warband, is the only one I can't play because they ran out of keys.

RedGajin:

I always get the big templar helmet, the black studded armor, and some hella clutch gloves and boots. Then for weapons I always get the tempered morningstar, masterwork warbow, and a war cleaver. Shields are for pussies. For my army I always choose Rhodokians because they are the most g and some mercenary swordsmen. Horses are also for pussies.
