buildcraft is easy as forget
and the ABSOLUTE BIGGEST TIP I can give you for industrialcraft is:
take heavy, unnecessary precautions. It may save you 12 diamonds (yes, that's a firsthand example)
read the wiki and take what they say literally. you will get forgeted if you forget to remove the right things with the right tools.

You should stop linking to the forum and link to a specific topic for a good tutorial because I'm 95% sure a lot of the tutorial maps are stuffty or incomplete.

I had buildcraft when it first came out, but that was like, 2 years ago.

It wasn't him. I checked server logs, and something broke. No idea what it was, but to my knowledge he returned everything to you guys. Don't point fingers just because he's an admin.
