Fallout 3 GOTY: Keeps crashing when I try to start a game.

So I just recently purchased the Fallout 3 GOTY on Steam and im having an issue with starting a game. Every time I click on the, "New" option in the main menu, the game just crashes. Ive seen several different fixes for this issue, but none of them seem to work for me.
Can I get any help :C
