--- Quote from: Eluxsam on July 11, 2012, 11:25:09 PM ---So do those things damage zombies, or at least prevent them from coming near you?
Also, is it difficult to build?
--- End quote ---
You can't just build willy nilly, you must find sandbags, wire fencing kits, and tank trap kits, and then place them where you want.
Building is literally just placing something right in front of where you're facing. It's honestly not that useful and can all be removed if someone has a toolbox.
Barricading yourself and trapping yourself in a building doesn't seem like that good of an idea either.
No it's not difficult, like I just said, you need to find one of the items, pick them up, and you can just place it.

First, here's the map of Chernarus:

Second, avoid Chernagorsk entirely. Only enter Elektro if you are almost going to die from hunger or thirst and ARE ARMED. In all likely hood you will never make it out.
Third, if you are able, kill everyone. There is absolutely no incentive to team up right now and chances are your teammate will get you killed.
Fourth, whenever you can see a zombie, you should be prone. That means laying on the ground. Never stand up ever unless you are being chased by zombies. If you are being chased, run to a dense area of houses and confuse them by running through tight spaces. When you are sufficiently far away, jump to the ground by pressing Z and move away. Use crouch walk (x) when moving between towns)
Fifth, never use the Lee Enfield or unsilenced sniper rifle in a city. Ever.
Sixth, if your blood is gradually decreasing, bandage immediately. If you have no bandages, look for them. You do not regain blood and the only way to force yourself to is to eat food which is difficult to acquire or get a blood transfusion which is even harder.
And finally, always play in the dark and try and immerse yourself otherwise the game is boring as forget.

honestly, I'd have to disagree with a lot of that (obviously the opinions, not the facts like getting blood back lol)

No, everything is correct.
If you disagree you are simply wrong.

You can't say someone's opinion on something is wrong.
You feel people should kill on sight, others think differently. Same with all the other points. It's just the way it is.

Just a map, don't need to touch on this. They are useful. Though i'd recommend this-

Second, avoid Chernagorsk entirely. Only enter Elektro if you are almost going to die from hunger or thirst and ARE ARMED. In all likely hood you will never make it out.
Chernagorsk has hospitals for med supplies, general buildings for general loot, and even military tents for a good gun right off the bat. Elektro has 2 firehouses which offer amazing loot right off the bat, once again, along with a grocery store too, and office building, and cafe, a church, and other buildings right in proximity. You're a fool if you don't take advantage of these cities before leaving to go North. Plus, idk why you say you will never it make it out, my friends and I (even going solo) go there ALL the time and make it out with no problems. You must be pretty bad if you're always dying or something.
Third, if you are able, kill everyone. There is absolutely no incentive to team up right now and chances are your teammate will get you killed.
Just another opinion, I've met more people who don't shoot at me than people who do on sight. There are tons of incentives to team up, and I can easily tell how rookie you are because you haven't figured that out.
Running through tight dense areas is a great way to get hit and die. You should just run in a straight line and they will never be able to hit you, and the BEST option is running inside an interior because it causes zombies to walk instead of run.
Fifth, never use the Lee Enfield or unsilenced sniper rifle in a city. Ever.
I've killed tons of people like this and it's saved my life plenty of times. It honestly doesn't even aggro that many zombies if you don't keep shooting the thing, and if you're on a roof it really doesn't matter. Since you're in a city, you can run in an interior (as stated above) and easily lose them all lol.
Sixth, if your blood is gradually decreasing, bandage immediately. If you have no bandages, look for them. You do not regain blood and the only way to force yourself to is to eat food which is difficult to acquire or get a blood transfusion which is even harder.
Hmmm.... obviously the first part is a fact but I can tell once again you're a rookie. If you were even playing with 1 other person, blood transfusions are incredibly easy. Since you're also apparently scared of cities and can never make it out of them, food is so extremely common in them and so are meds... so....?
--- End quote ---
Oh but apparently I'm wrong since I get working vehicles, stuff-tons of the best weapons, always have medical supplies, food, water, and a group on hand, and rarely ever die.
So pick who to listen to, Eluxsam
