Treynolds416:

There is an option under one of the tabs to do something called reverse faces or something similar. Select the black faces and click it to flip the faces around

Whenever i extrude the extruded part when I put the view on textures always turns out black, have no idea why.

Check auto smooth shade (or whatever it's called. I haven't opened milkshape in a while.) in your grouping tabs before you begin modeling otherwise you will see black faces as you extrude and perform other operations to your geometry.

Make sure it is checked at the very beginning before you even create a shape or you will encounter issues. In order to fix it you may be able select the black faces and assign them to a smoothing group. Also check and make sure they aren't inverted faces but to prevent the issue 100% of the time do the aforementioned.

You just stuck cubes together, for god's sake.

Stick cubes?

Ain't that the Steves? model?

Minecrafts basic shape is cubes.

Sticking cubes is all you have to do to make something.

Unless its a client mod, or texture pack

Sorry I'm late, but I wanted to point that out.

By sticking cubes together, he forgot to remove unnecessary squares that can't bee seen by the player when put together.
