i'm a big fan of QualiaSoup, he has loads of great videos.

I don't like to think or talk about it, those stages of my life were terrible
fair enough

You can't be a skeptic and religious at the same time.

Interesting, thanks for the link.

You can't be a skeptic and religious at the same time.
I think the farthest you can go with that is Agnostic Theism.

if you're trying to get me to reconsider my beliefs again it isn't help

Just watch the video and really think about it.

If you're still a theist, you're doing something wrong.

Yeah okay whatever be stupid.

Yeah okay whatever be stupid.

There's no evidence for any supernatural deity, so the only logical conclusion is to be an atheist.

Or rather, my original post should be 'You can't be a skeptic and a thiest at the same time.' Bit of an oversight.

No evidence to the contrary either.
So shut up and stop being stupid.

And yes, I read the thread.
And to me, you're being stupid.

Read up on the burden of proof.

yeah im not a fan of agnostics.

as an atheist i believe people who have faith in deities have an awful lot of fear and confusion in many areas of life.

but people who sit on the fence (agnostics) and play it safe, are both fearful, and disgraceful.
they wait for an answer, rather then search for one. because searching would lead you one way or the other, not leave you confused in the middle.

OT. i am a big fan of statistics. those who live life by numbers are the safest, happiest, and most successful. and none of that has to have anything to do with money.

Read up on the burden of proof.
Where?
I've never seen legitimate proof that God dors not exist.
And don't give me the "evuhlooshun" bullstuff.

Where?

Discovery channel, school textbooks, astronomy, cosmology, etc. etc.

Discovery channel, school textbooks, astronomy, cosmology, etc. etc.
How, in any way, does any of this prove God to be false and manmade?

generic religious argument #3543

Where?
everything ever
like really
"if there be a god why there be sufferin'"

oh, also, you can't really prove something doesn't exist in a very effective way other than that there is no proof that it does exist. in general, because it's overall more realistic, the thought that it does not exist is generally considered more likely.
