have you even seen some of the stuff the creator posts? He's an idiot in himself.
DayZ is a generic zombie shooting game = massive popularity
aka it attracts tons and tons of scrubs to arma.
even worse is the fact that all my friends that told me they would never buy arma because they hate military sims, are now playing it just for DayZ. It's disgusting IMO.
mods are supposed to be played because you like the game and the mod...
even worse is the mods that have more effort (Invasion 1944, ACE, Unsung) aren't as well known as DayZ and all DayZ is, is mostly scripts and mission editing. barely any addon content besides 'zombies'
call me a hipster all you want, but arma 2 was much better when all these friends werent playing it and teamkilling, greifing, and using darkys hacks on the servers I like to play on.

Combined ops is better because you get arma 2 and oa content in one package.

I agree, these DayZ cigarettes need to go. I'm sick and tired that Idiot Rocket and his army of sheep. When I get onto Arma 2 all I see is DayZ and one or two militarish servers with 7 or ten people. I ask people if they tried vanilla Arma, then they tell how they joined a crappy server and assumed the others were like that would only play DayZ. Must find meeses.

yeah a get a good group of people together and play Patrol Ops or some really fun missions with the ACE mod. If you ever want to play, just make sure you have all of ACE installed and that's it.

So? It is their fault, stop saying what should and shouldn't be you pretentious forget. If they want to pay money for a zombie mod, which in my opinion is good, they can be able to. So what if people don't like arma, if they team-kill kill/leave/kick them. I mean really, don't blame dayz for team-killing, or greifing, it is not the mod itselfs fault.
