Then you fall 2 metres with a helicopter on the ground and it instantly explodes.

Crashes with air vehicles are just unpredictable

GREAT URBAN COMBAT!

Better than having 4000 ugly , lagging trees in your face that barely alter gameplay.
Also most buildings in Chernarus aren't even accessible compared to Takistan's - another reason why Takistan has better urban combat. The big cities in Chernarus are stuffty for urban combat since there are only a handful of accessible buildings and the cities mostly consist of large , open streets which are handicapped for infantry.
There are only 2 Chernarus maps : Utes , which is not really worth mentioning , and the actual Chernarus map.
Takistan has 3 maps each being good in their own ways : There's the desert map mainly for vehicle combat , the hilly Takistan map which is good for everything and finally the Zargabad map which is best for urban warfare.

tl;dr : Chernarus is not very good , it lags a lot because of the poorly optimized trees and grass and barely has real urban combat.

I like taking cover in the trees and ambushing CDF convoys.

...as NAPA. I'll fight for the Chedaki on a good day too.

I also discovered something
If you use your landing gear crash into something (like the gear hits a building) you will instantly stop and be relatively fine.
