Author Topic: What made you join Blockland?  (Read 7765 times)

I joined Blockland because I saw someone at an art fair that made a castle, blew stuff up, and ran it over with a jeep. I joined so I could do that. then discovered that I can be much more then a noob...

Hmm.. I dont even remember how I found blockland
My best guess is that it was from an advertisement.
I played the demo, was amazing, and got it for Christmas :7

I got it with a weekly allowance  :cookieMonster:

Anyways, I was just looking for some online sandbox games via wikipedia.

I seen blockland and boom. My brother got the demo for me (at the time i was not allowed to download stuff on the computer until I got my own)

The think that enchanted me while i was playing the demo was most likely the noises and the sounds. Planting bricks, and turning on the lights. I loved it.

That it took 2 years to get my parents click 'buy'

Took a year for me.

Wanted a building game, was exploring the sandbox genre.

I bought Blockland on one simple idea.  The thought that I could build endlessly, and not fear stepping on a single lego ever again.

Legos were my favourite toy as a child.

one december evening i found blockland somehow

Friend showed it to me, hooked instantly

My brother saw an ad for it on ROBLOX, and he started playing it.
Watched him play it for a little bit, and started using his key (same house shut up), and then eventually bought my 18701 key.

Mmm that loving hurts >:U

To expand on my post, cheese invited me to his house and on his comp we explored ice palace. Then he bought 6382 and the first server I ever played at was Jorgurs Dogfight. Me and him took turns on deaths, oh god every time I go on the Resistance and fly to the Red Army's base a huge wave of nostalgia crosses me.

eksi inspired me
this is the very first blockland video I've ever seen
I later watched a ton of videos after that and it looked really fun
blockland is also the very first game I got on my PC

I found roblox
it wasn't for mac (thank god) and somehow from that i found blockland

Started in Roblox. Blockland just came up randomly on a google search. It seemed interesting, so I played the BL demo. Soon after I never went back to Roblox.

The above quote was my first thought upon playing the demo. I liked the demo enough to buy Blockland between V11-V13,, weeks or months after discovering the game and playing the demo.

I was one of the ex ROBLOX Players. Then it got so stuff. The community were a bunch of knobheads, then one day I watched Screen savers, and was like Holy stuff this looks epic, so I played the demo for 2 years until I asked my parents. 4 Weeks later and OOSH! I had my Blockland, And I uninstalled ROBLroosterS the same day I saw that TV episode.

Fixed

Some guy said "Blockland" on Unrealsoftware.de, I googled it and found Blockland.

I played about 1 and a half months with the demo until my parents finally bought it. :D
