There's a certain kind you should use. Mitsubishi Verbatim -R or +R. Disc quality matters a LOT.

I'm not sure if you can use RW in a PS2. I remember buying Verbatim DVD+R's, so I would go with those to be safe.

EDIT: These. http://www.amazon.com/Verbatim-95033-Branded-Recordable-25-Disc/dp/B0003QIXBY/ref=sr_1_5?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1335780008&sr=1-5

You need only 1 copy. You backup the ISO on your PC, and then open with your program.

Nightfire worked for me, but BFMC2 didn't work.

Do you have a fat (old ps2) or slim (new ps2)

--- Quote from: dkamm65 on April 29, 2012, 11:41:13 PM ---It involves taking apart the PS2 and taping down a few sensors so you can run the PS2 with the tray open. You swap the official disc during boot with a patched one you burned yourself, then you can run a program from the modified game to save the soft mod onto your memory card.

That psx-scene forum I linked is full of info and tutorials, and even people that will do it for you if you mail them your memory card.

DVR-R (not re-writable) has worked the best for me.

You can, but I found DVD-R to work the best for me.
