Salvage DMs are terrible. It always ends up with some guy on a high platform shooting everyone and everything with a rocket launcher. |

It's impossible to balance without making the map too big to be any fun. If you allow people to move items, then you have a bunch of people in the sky shooting at a bunch of people with nothing, just because they joined first and grabbed all the weapons. If you don't, the entire purpose of salvage is dead. There's no motivation to raid, even though you're actually properly armed to do so. |

Salvages hosted by Lord Tony completely put me off of the genre. But I'll be willing to give it another go now that he's out of the picture. |
