Holding a belief is harder than you think.
When you haven't seen any proof what so ever you can't hang on very easy but when you have seen things you can hang on.
Your an Atheist so I doubt you realize how hard it is to hang onto faith with how the world is.
no it's not
and I'm agnostic, and I haven't been my entire life
I was born into a family with strong beliefs in Christianity
I was raised thinking it was true; I went to church every sunday and wednesday with my grandparents, and honestly believed everything they told me for the entire beginning of my life
somewhere around being eight years old, I started questioning things, really simple things like "why do people get diseases" and I would always get some bullstuff answer like "god is testing us"
after a while I learned to not bother even mentioning it to people, but continued to question more dramatic things I used to consider fact
somewhere in 6th grade I started to think that if there was a god, who really did love us, he wouldn't send things like malaria and AIDS to kill us
eventually I came to consider myself agnostic, because I don't know what else to call my beliefs
I understand that it can be hard to believe in Christianity. but I don't think there's any reason at all to be a Christian, decide you're actually an atheist (note that this is most likely your personal way of secretly rebelling against your parents), then decide you're not an atheist, but instead, agnostic, and then back to being a Christian "just because"
