Only if your traffic is megahuge

i mean like in the hundreds of megabytes in a really short period of time

one lousy txt file that's hardly a kilobyte at most isn't gonna cause them to do this.

All of my released add-ons that aren't on RTB are on the forums and hosted on dropbox.

I don't exactly get stuffloads of volume, but I doubt jes is either.

Well hey look I provide a free service which does exactly this, so I guess that!

Otherwise there are hundreds of free (albeit stuff) webhosts which will be fine for what you're trying to do.

I made a free site on http://www.webs.com/ and use that to host my stuff:

http://greekmods.webs.com/mods/Gamemode_Slayer/Updater/version_Release.txt
http://greekmods.webs.com/mods/Gamemode_Slayer/Updater/changeLog_Release.txt
http://greekmods.webs.com/mods/Gamemode_Slayer/Help/help_Release.txt

Except your stuff has to be approved.
You also don't offer hosting individual text files.

Please, correct me if I'm wrong.
