I assume that people will just save all the bricks in the server if they need that. I had made a version that could kinda work with events, but it was so unmanageable that I decided it was not useful until I had enough free time to spend working out a nicer interface for the whole mod. |

Would be totally possible to do actually - well, not saving it clientside, but transmitting a save to the client (since you'd need client code anyway) and also loading them onto the server. I would make it but I'd literally rather recode the duplicator entirely, since that thing's a loving pain to work with. |

--- Quote from: Nexus on May 08, 2012, 06:19:28 PM ---so what is the problem with using the buildbot one? you can then reload it with either buildbot in any server or the duplicator in your own server --- End quote --- I dont think you can save it on a server that doesn't have the duplicator addon to begin with (Badspot's, any other server without it) perhaps you could make a client function that makes an invisible raycast(cannot be visible due to the fact it would then require the server to get a datablock from the client) and then get the brickstackup (or whatever it's called) and save it to a file that can be loaded by buildbot or a macro |
