I'm making a set of steampunk-ish type pipes, Heres what I got so far.

I'm going to have a background and all the sets I make are going to be able to link up besides the first and last, I would also like to note, I'm missing the cap at the very start to close it off.
Edit: Also I am in no way good a pixel art, I just needed something to do. I'm also going to make it look old and worn.

I'd recommend making it a little more modular and avoiding non-uniform curves. On the modular-type ones you made, though, the pipe becomes wider through the curve and that is an issue.

Add more pipe sections. Right now it looks like one big pipe.

Now that I think about it it is actually very, very light blue, but too light for it to even matter.
