Just as a thought for people who do pixel art using outlines. Do you use a single color for the outlines or do you change the colors of the outlines to fit the color of the object (a green gun would have a darker green outline)? |

Depends on how you are outlining. You can use a solid color and then break it up with softer colors known as broken-outlining, or you could use aa (anti aliasing) banding to get rid of the grid as well. |
