Does paint have transparency support? Last I recall, it didn't, and that's pretty bad if you're making pixel art for something other than just display. I can't think of anything I've actually ever needed transparency for besides Blockland prints. |

maybe if you needed to do lighting effect that would be easier by putting a transparent color layer over everything or something like in some kind of alarm situation where everything is lit red or if you were making something that is underwater that's somewhat specific but transparency can be used for a lot of things |

If your sprites have a massive box of white space around them, that's kind of an issue. |
