Pixel Art

so I've never done pixel art and I suck at drawing. For some reason I felt compelled to make pixel art after looking through this thread. I loaded up paint.net and gave it a try.
getting a bit of inspiration from a few of the posts I made this.
(that's a revolver in his hand btw.)

I don't make stuff like ships but I'm sure if it had a little bit more depth it would be better.
