3GB because his stuffty windows XP 32bit can only handle about 3.5 gigs of ram.

Actually on topic: will that graphics card that I mentioned work?

Anyways OP, the card you listed should work, though I'd wait for more people to suggest other options before you make a purchase.

zmaster:

Any non-integrated card should do the trick (I'd avoid Radeons. Y U No fully support OpenGL)
For the cheaper cards just mess with the graphics settings until it runs nicely.  Also I'd put draw distance on auto (see options->advanced).  If it's a laptop....well...tough luck i guess
