It isnt difficult at all. I have a Private Pilot's lisence, although I'm not saying I can hop in an F-15 and fly perfectly lol. Most people just aren't interested in air crew.

Around 4% of the Air Force is composed of pilots. I'll be working in electronics.

Almost anyone I see online who's in the army turns out to have some job like this, not that dangerous combat which can get you killed. At least you won't have 10 year old kids calling you gay.

Oh, my dad was a Communications Technician and he had to do 2 and a half years of schooling before he could go up with an instructor. I can only imagine how long it would take to train people who want to be pilots without basic lisences.

a good amount of all military forces is made up of everyone who doesn't go into combat, and does things like make vehicles, weapons, and everything else important basically

You have to be an officer to be a pilot. You have to have a bachelor's degree to be an officer. Even then, it's hard to get in at all.

Assuming you did make it in as an officer, you also have to fit into a much more specific set of requirements.

besides the degree, what other things are you going to need to have/be to be an officer
does the air force require high physical fitness? I know that flying a jet requires a good amount because of g-force

I don't think they grade your ability to exercise more than your health. E.G. Eyesight, hearing..
