I know, But I dont know how to make my camera "expose" the picture
Usually a point and shoot doesn't let you access such options.
I am editing them, and also followed you!Now as for day two I feel like if the people really weren't your subject it would have been best to cut them out as they seem a bit distracting from the actual point of the image.
Yea, I noticed that. but I like the guy walking in the water, The rest could go. I havent edited mine. What are you using?
To edit I'm using Lightroom 4, and Photoshop cs6.
Im no good with photoshop haha.
Photoshop is actually overkill for photography. Lightroom has everything you need. However, if you're shooting JPEG I'm not sure if Lightroom is the best option, I belive it's optimized for RAW.
Since I got lightroom I really haven't touched anything else, it is fantastic. Also I do shoot RAW
Yeah Lightroom is really the best, but it's a little pricy. The only other alternative I know off the top of my head is Aperture, and it has lots of the same features but it pretty dated compared to Lightroom 4. And it's for Mac OS X only. When I mention JPEG I was talking to Muffin, I'm assuming he shoots JPEG.
How would I know if im shooting Jpeg?
What are the file types when you upload pictures to your computer?
I've been using my phones camera. so for these past 3 ive been uploading them to photobucket from my phone and then tagging them into tumblr. So i dont know. Ill checkEdit: yea its Jpeg, also why wouldn't lightroom for for Jpeg images?
It's made for RAW file editing. RAW pictures aren't compressed at all, and retain a lot of detail that a jpg can't, so most of what Lightroom does wouldn't be effective on them.
