i think the river is fine, even though it is sharp that's not really a problem since most rivers are. the only thing i think that would make it better is adding a low incline to the inside of the bend, to give it a reason to have turned at that point. other than that it's very good looking.

I fixed the river, and made the terrain less flat/patchy with some craters and high spots. The first town is almost complete.

is you're going to use horses i suggest getting the advanced horse, that way you can use the normal horse as some kind of hunting animal.

If your gonna make the entire world Pvp i would highly suggest that you make it so there are multiple spawns that are well away from each other to prevent 'most' spawnkilling attemps.

Spawnkillers will be banned. It's not a dm. It's an rp, kind of like Zombies in the Bluzone.
There will be factions and jobs and stuff like that.

Terrain is nice but inconsistent, like Sleven said. Try to mask the flat cube sides with filler bricks.

Also, it's blatantly obvious where the baseplates are, and that most of the terrain consists of flat sections punctuated by small brick "islands." If you're trying to go for realistic, use less baseplates and more terraced brick terrain.

You also might want to finish the terrain and then build buildings on it; if you follow my tips you'll have to restructure some building foundations.
