Why do people use mediafire when they can just attach files?

It could be that all files uploaded to the forum take up space on the server and a server can only hold so much. When I first looked at this I thought what a load of crap. Not really any answers. these are just pointless posts. I wonder how many times rules 6 and 7 have been broken. They should be more strict.
