They say its a "Soft elo reset" and i think that means you keep playing with the people from your current elo in next season
There is no explanation from riot yet tho so this might not be true

Yeah, I have been playing those two lately. I prefer to play Vayne and Cait (well, I prefer support over anything), but since Ezreal basically free this week I decided to see if he is as OP as everyone complains. And what do you know, I get these ridiculous amounts of kills in games of players "my skill level", whereas before when I played really well with my other carries or AP mids, I would not snowball nearly as hard.

I had said TF2 season - the people I am on a team with in ESEA are far more competent at what they do than the people I premade with in LoL, let alone the random people I get matched with in soloq. League is fun, but when you are good (or at least above average), you get matched with people who are bad (or below average) to balance the teams to a 50-50 winrate. That means I can't play the role I enjoy since the less experienced players will be left with the most valuable positions.
