You're asking the wrong people tbh, apart from Sony but I doubt he'll want to ELO boost you himself.

If you duo with a higher elo guy you get +4-6 from wins so its not even worth it.

2.3k elo playing nothing but heca. Any role he was made to play he played hecarim. But i do not reccomend this lol.
Its really easy to carry games from 1200-1500 but you need to actually know how to play and abuse snowballing. Seriously below 1500 everyone is stuff and if you're better than them you win if you're not you don't. People there follow blindlessy stuff like mobafire guides [Stay the forget away from this cancer site PLEASE] and/or champions that were played in tournaments.
Dont start ranked before you have become good in atleast 3 of 5roles 1 of them always being support since like if you main mid, and someone else takes mid and you suck as top,jungle and ad you can pick support and play safe on a comfortable role. When i reached silver i stopped caring about not getting my favorite role and started playing support if mid and ad were taken. went 12W 1L on soraka or something.
Sorry if there are errors and stuff but tl;dr get better, if you're not ready for ranked dont do it just because of a skin, master roles=carry yourself
Also i was 4elo away from 1.7k today but lost a really short game where enemy ezreal went like 12-0 thanks to arguing botlane. I tired to gank when i reached 6 but was too late as its ezreal lol. Was fine tommorow again goal to 1750 i think if i dont have anything better to do
